- Liz Seymour at the Swarthmore Presbyterian Church Fall Fair 2008
What a glorious day!
Chilly, bright sun, windy at times, and the fun and spirit of the whole area coming together at this annual event.
Liz's Mom, Pam, had been a Co-Chair of the Fall Fair several years ago and KNOWS how much work it takes to pull this together each year. For MONTHS various committees of the church have been working hard to provide a terrific experience for everyone who visits this annual event.

It has been a busy weekend!
The weekend started with cleaning my apartment on Friday afternoon. You'll soon see this was a common theme this weekend. HA! Friday night also included having friends over for dinner, which was really fun.

- Liz Seymour and the circle of life
It has been quite a roller coaster of life for the past couple of weeks.
I have been reminded how precious life is.
At work, fellow teachers are becoming pregnant left and right. I guess this is because our staff is a younger staff with lots of newly weds. It is a very exciting time and with each announcement, the staff around that new mother comes to congratulate her because we know how precious life is.

- Liz Seymour closes Seussical… or does she?
Saturday night came and it was time to close Seussical. The evening started in a normal fashion. We arrived to the theater and the cast and crew prepared for our final performance. The house was filled and the opening number ended with thunderous applause.

- Liz Seymour Closes Seussical, Announces Cabaret on Saturday, October 11, 2008
This week, I will close Seussical.
I have had such a blast. Mayzie is a smaller role, but very fun to play.
The best part about the show is the new people I've met and the feedback from those who have come to see it. Doing a show can really take over your life, so although I'll miss doing the show, I am looking forward to getting back to the little things in life, like cleaning my house. HA!

- Liz Seymour and Bapa – WHERE Did She Find This 86-Year Old Actor?
Liz had an idea for our upcoming music video and the results are amazing!
The story is a sweet one (at least as the song goes) that if Liz will only step up to the counter to meet the cute guy working behind it, she will get to know the love of her dreams.

- Liz Seymour's Busy Weekend – Music Video and Seussical
I have been busy this past weekend! Phew!
I think Saturday went by and I was awake for a full 24 hours, with a 2-hour nap in there somewhere.
Seussical opened on Thursday after a long week of tech and dress rehearsals. I'm just starting to catch up on sleep now. It opened with a bang and the audiences really seem to be enjoying it. There is tons going on in each scene, so there is plenty to watch.

- Liz Seymour as Mayzie in Seussical
Tonight is the final dress for Seussical at the Players Club of Swarthmore Theater.
It has been a long tech week with late nights. I'm really looking forward to opening and allowing the show to gel as a unit, rather than the two pieces of tech and onstage that you experience during tech week.

- Liz Seymour – What I Did The Summer Of 2008
Do you know how at the beginning of school each year your teacher always asked you to write, "What I Did This Summer."
I ask my students the same thing.
And so, I felt I should show THEM what I did – but since I use video so much as a teaching tool, and here on my site, I created a video.

- Liz Seymour is back at School Teaching
Well, summer is unofficially over, and although I'd love summer to last longer, I'm really glad to be back at work.
I went back to work for returning teacher orientation yesterday. It was really hard to get up so early and sometimes sitting so long during meetings can be tiring, but I was glad to be back.

- Liz Seymour Sings with Britney Spears, Prince, and Tom Jones then Marries George Clooney
This is shocking video from Las Vegas: perhaps what happens in Vegas does NOT stay in Vegas… but I couldn't hold this back any longer.
Liz Seymour sings with Prince and Tom Jones, cavorts with Britney Spears, and then marries George Clooney. And who is standing by watching?
