Swarthmore's Home For The Holidays Features Liz Seymour

YPTW Family:

“We’re Having LOTS Of Fun
And YOU Are Invited!”

Two major events are coming up, and we want to be sure you are there!

1. Liz Seymour is headlining Swarthmore’s Home For The Holidays
December 6, 2008 at 4:30 PM, Swarthmore United Methodist Church

You know Liz… director, choreographer, summer camp teacher, and former student and performer at YPTW (who just happens to be a terrific singer as well) is releasing her first CD: Liz Seymour – That Thing Called Love. We’re all VERY excited about it and we want you to be there at the party!

And there are SO many YPTW connections to this CD: Josh Young and Claudia Carlsson sing with Liz; Gina Giachero is Music Director and plays piano, harp, keyboard, marimbas; Kait Kerrigan and Brian Lowdermilk created one of the songs; Laura Kiehner plays flute; Amanda Limpert plays sax and clarinet; Jason Bookman plays sax; Pat Murray and Ryan Stone have been production assistants on one of the music videos, Taylor The Latte Boy.

The town of Swarthmore is celebrating Home For The Holidays and asked Liz to headline with her own performance. She will sing with our own Gina Giachero at the piano and then during the reception afterwards, her CD will be available for purchase (they make GREAT gifts at the holidays!). And there’s food too!

Our How To Eat Like A Child rehearsal that day will be over in plenty of time to get the whole family to the center of Swarthmore and in your seats by 4:30.

Please join us. Liz has worked SO hard to get all of this ready for you: let’s support her as she has her Official CD Release Party in Swarthmore!

2. How To Eat Like A Child – YPTW’s Winter Production December 12 at 7:30 PM and December 13 at 2:00 PM, Swarthmore Rutledge School Auditorium

Searching the internet for some information, I came across this montage of our How To Eat Like A Child production from 2000. See how many kids you recognize! Quite a few went on to very active “careers” with YPTW: http://CharlesSeymourJr.com/child.htm

This show is a lot of fun. Other kids LOVE it and parents will be so proud of what their performers can do. Sean, Gina, Liz, and the whole staff have worked hard with everyone, so don’t miss it. And with tickets only $6, seats will go fast. Come early to be sure to get the best seats! And bring the whole neighborhood – all the kids will thank you!
