Long CD day

Today I got up early to meet the General Manager of the studio and Joe, who will be taking care of hiring musicians for my CD. I was pleased with the meeting and was excited to learn of Joe's experience and talents.

Following that meeting, I drove to meet Gina to organize sheet music and just do some finalizing of instrumentation and organization. We have a rehearsal planned next week so that we're on the same page for when we enter the studio in a few weeks. It is very exciting.

I was driving all over and realized that I'm way overdue for an oil change and I will need my state inspection next month. It is so hard to fit chores like that into my schedule when I'm running around so much!
