Liz Seymour at the Outlets and a Wedding

This weekend was great fun and nuts all at the same time.

After lunch with Gina on Friday afternoon, I went home to work on some more CD planning. In the meantime, my sister, Stacie, had traveled to Lancaster to be a bridesmaid for a friend's wedding. I called her back from a message she left me, and the bride (Jean Mary) was in the background. At that time, the bride invited me to the wedding, saying that people who had RSVP'd 'yes' couldn't make it. I told my sister that I had plans to go outlet shopping with my good friend, Claudia, in the morning, so I wasn't sure if I'd be able to make it to Lancaster in time.

I decided to pack a bag Friday night so that when I came home from outlet shopping, I could run off to Lancaster if the timing worked out. I went to bed early and didn't sleep soundly. I easily woke at 8am and prepared myself for the day.

Claudia came to my place to pick me up. We had a great time at the Philadelphia Premium Outlets near Collegeville. After a full morning of shopping and a nice lunch, I returned home around 2pm. I was tired, but incredibly flattered to be invited to the Lancaster wedding, so I changed into my dress and hit the road. I arrived at the Chapel 15 minutes before the ceremony; it was meant to be!

The ceremony was beautiful and the reception was a blast! My sister and I shared her hotel room, which allowed us to party all night with the bride. We met lots of great people at the wedding and she said she has never clicked with a bridal party as well as she did this time.

Sunday we awoke to attend a bridal brunch with all the visiting guests. From there, my sister and I drove to Collegeville to visit my cousin's new house, since my sister hadn't seen it. From there, I met a friend for dinner and attended a rehearsal for this fall's production of Seussical (more on that later!).

Phew! By the time I got home Sunday night, I was exhausted.
