Liz Seymour and the circle of life
It has been quite a roller coaster of life for the past couple of weeks.
I have been reminded how precious life is.
At work, fellow teachers are becoming pregnant left and right. I guess this is because our staff is a younger staff with lots of newly weds. It is a very exciting time and with each announcement, the staff around that new mother comes to congratulate her because we know how precious life is.
This week, I attended a funeral. It was a terribly sad day to try to celebrate a life of a man that touched many and was taken from us far too soon; he was only 56. He died of lung cancer. I was terribly honored to be instantly included with the family in their time of grief.
After this past week with life beginning all around me and a special life ending, I realized that I need to really fill each day with special things before it is too late. I know that a 25 year old young lady might be too young to be thinking that, but you just never know what might happen in life. I am now doing things and surrounding myself with people that allow me to experience my new outlook on life that I was reminded of this week. I am glad that my life is finally going that way!
